Jerry and Ashley met on Leap Day in 2020, on the rooftop of the Austin building they both lived in at the time, Camden Rainey Street. Jerry was convinced Ashley had stolen his grill and came over in full confrontation mode, but the moment he saw Ashley, his plans changed entirely. He ended up sharing his wine (because it was steak night) with Ashley and her friends that night, then sealed the deal by chatting with their Uber driver about baseball in Spanish. Ashley's friends knew they were witnessing something special.

A few days later, the world shut down. What started as an unexpected encounter turned into the perfect chance for Jerry & Ashley to get to know each other during lockdown. Those early days brought them together, and they haven't looked back since.

Since then, they've traveled to over 60 countries together, often with their wiry-haired Jack Russell, Brutus, who made every adventure better. Brazil holds a special place in their hearts, and now it's where they're celebrating this next chapter with the people who matter most.
